Our family has had the wonderful pleasure of working with Genevieve when my youngest was almost 2.
He had struggled with eating and putting on weight since he was a newborn and Genevieve was our second attempt at feeding therapy and OT services to help him make growth goals at the doctor’s office.
She was able to introduce us to so many creative new ideas, tools and exercises to help him, that we had never been exposed to before. Through food play with Genevieve he was finally able to increase his tolerance of different textures in his mouth and on his hands.
I had to hold back tears the day he finally chewed a solid protein (chicken) while working with Genevieve. He still breaks out his “buzz buddy” as he calls his oral stim tool from time to time even two years later and I can proudly say he is my dirtiest kid, not fearing anything being on his hands or feet.
She also discovered retained reflexes on our son and began exercises to further help ease his sensory preferences. No one else had even questioned that possibility. Her knowledge, skills and creativity were able to help our son and ease stress and tension being held by our whole family as he struggled with sensory difficulties and weight gain.
We are so thankful we were able to work with her and for all her help.

From the moment Genevieve stepped into our home I knew instantly that she was exactly what my son needed. She was incredibly calm, patient, and soothing to my son, while also listening to and addressing my concerns for his fine motor growth.
At the time my son was just over 2 and did not take to people very well. He struggled with adult lead activities.
Genevieve noticed this very quickly and really went out of her way to let him choose the activities for the sessions. Within no time he was using kitchen utensils and able to use his fingers to pinch and pull or push smaller objects into or out of proper place. She also made sure my daughter (who does not need services) was always included.
