We all move. If we stop, we cease to live. Even those with lifestyle diseases or neurodegenerative disorders, move. Their arteries pump blood, their lungs inflate and deflate, and their vocal cords vibrate. The very verbs we use to describe these basic autonomic and metabolic functions are packed with potential kinetic energy...they are performative. "Pump" as in on a swing, "inflate and deflate" as in a bagpipe playing the timeless notes to Amazing Grace, and "vibrate" as the guitar strums the chords to Good Vibrations. "Move", by definition, is also performative.

The Vieve Movement is dedicated to those with neurological & developmental diagnoses, to those who care for and support this often stigmatized group, and to the curious and growth-minded reader who is ready to uncover their own super powers in occupational performance.

The intent of this blog is to share my lived experiences and peer-reviewed insights in hopes that, one day, it'll lead to furthering the goals of this amazing group of people and by extension that of humanity.
